Have a question about in-home tech support, Wi-Fi, printers, or devices?

Here are answers to the most common questions we get at Trusted Mobile Tech.

General Questions

What does Trusted Mobile Tech do?

Trusted Mobile Tech provides friendly, in-home tech support for Denver-area households. We help with Wi-Fi and home networks, smart TVs and streaming, printers, phones, tablets, email, passwords, online safety, and everyday device problems.

Do you come to my home?

Yes. All of our services are provided in your home so you don’t have to unplug anything or drive to a store. We come to you and fix the issue on-site.

Who is this service for?

We help homeowners, renters, families, seniors, new movers, and anyone who wants simple, easy-to-understand tech help without the hassle.

How quickly can I get an appointment?

We often have same-day or next-day appointments available, depending on your location and schedule. Call or text and we’ll do our best to fit you in. We are also available on weekends if required.

Wi-Fi & Network Questions

Can you fix slow or unreliable Wi-Fi?

Yes. We diagnose slow speeds, weak signals, dead zones, dropped connections, and router issues. We improve Wi-Fi coverage and performance throughout your home.

Do you set up routers or mesh Wi-Fi systems?

Yes. If you already have a router or mesh system, we set it up, secure it, and optimize placement and settings so your network is faster and more reliable.

Can you help secure my home network?

Absolutely. We review your network settings, update passwords if needed, block unknown devices, and configure security options to better protect your home.

Smart TV & Streaming Questions

Can you set up my smart TV or streaming device?

Yes. We set up smart TVs and devices like Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, and Chromecast, connect them to Wi-Fi, and install your streaming apps.

Why is my TV buffering or freezing all the time?

Most buffering issues are caused by Wi-Fi problems, router placement, or outdated apps. During a visit we diagnose the cause and fix the issue so streaming works smoothly.

Printer Questions

Why does my printer keep going offline?

This is usually a Wi-Fi, driver, or setup problem. We reconnect your printer, update drivers, and make sure it works properly with your computer, phone, and tablet.

Can you set up a new printer for me?

Yes. We install and configure new printers, connect them to Wi-Fi, and set up printing and scanning from all your devices.

Phone & Tablet Questions

Can you set up my new phone or tablet?

Yes. We help you set up new devices, connect them to Wi-Fi, transfer photos and contacts, install apps, and configure email and accounts.

Can you transfer data from my old device to my new one?

We can usually transfer your photos, contacts, apps (when supported), and other important data from your old phone, tablet, or computer to your new one.

Email, Password & Account Questions

Can you fix email problems or login issues?

Yes. We fix issues with email not sending or receiving, accounts not syncing across devices, and login or password problems.

Can you help reset passwords and organize my accounts?

Absolutely. We help reset forgotten passwords, recover locked accounts when possible, and organize your logins so things are easier to manage. You can enter your passwords yourself—we don’t keep or store them.

Parental Controls & Online Safety

Can you set up parental controls for my kids?

Yes. We set up parental controls, app restrictions, safer browsing, and screen time limits on phones, tablets, computers, and some smart TVs.

Can you block unsafe or adult websites?

We can configure content filters at the device level and, in many cases, at the network level so certain websites and categories are restricted in your home.
